Vision Statement
The Successful Scribes are dedicated to spreading knowledge and educating our customers in regards to all of thier professional writing needs. We are also committed to helping individuals in other business and professional situations, such powerpoint presentations, audio/visual effects, public speeches, and the many different forms of business communications as well. We are all professional writing students at Florida Gulf Coast University and are completley dedicated to shareing the knowledge we have gained with as many people as possible. Although, we do realize that we don't have all the answers, so we have made our blog a portal to many different websites and videos, where other people, including professionals, offer thier intel as well. Our main mission is not to be the blog that contains all the information concerning your professional writing and business communication needs, but to be the blog that helps you gain all of those critical business skills through outsourcing as well. We are here to help you, not inhibit you.

Interesting video you 2 posted! I believe it is important to be culturally aware whenever communicating with people whether domestically or internationally. Visuals play an important part in communicating ideas and messages whether on a personal level, or to masses and i think that if we do follow the advice of megan and daniel, we will not find ourselves in any trouble with other cultures anytime soon!
ReplyDeleteOu wooow !! I loved it, you guys did a great job !!!! Talking about different cultures, when i was in Bulguria i was so confused becouse i tried to say "yes" by nodding my head but In bulguria that means "no" haha so ended up gettin different orders couple times in restourant lol

Awesome job on your moviemaker video clip, Dan and Megan. I hope you uploaded it to YouTube so it is there for the world to see when they search for information on creating visuals for an international audience. I particularly loved the Po Po Poker Face right to left and left to right example...very creative. I also liked how you used both of your voices in the video clip. You guys are done with your posts for the project as this is your fifth post. Successful Scribes is going to be tough to beat.

ReplyDeleteGreat Video, I wouldn't have expected anything less from you 2. You both did a wonderful job keeping me updated and turning your work in on time. As Sheila said, useing the Ink Authority logo was very clever and the Lady GaGa thing was absolutly priceless. You really outdid yourselves, this video will be great for our customers.
